Sublime Text Theme: Cyanide

A Minimal dark theme for Sublime Text 3

Cyanide is a minimal dark theme for Sublime Text 3 that comes with various color options. You can see screenshots of all the different colors in the gallery at the end of this post.

Cyanide can be installed via Package Control and can also be found on GitHub.

Cyanide includes settings for various tab heights, folder icon sizes, and UI contrast. To enable Cyanide in Sublime Text, open up your user preferences file and replace the theme and color_scheme directives with these:

"color_scheme": "Packages/Theme - Cyanide/Cyanide.tmTheme",
"theme": "Cyanide.sublime-theme"

I’m using Cyanide right now and am quite happy with it. I still love Predawn, but it’s time for a change. So, I’ll be rolling with the Wood Cyanide theme for a while.

Cyanide can be found on GitHub, along with all the relevant documentation.

Gallery of the various Cyanide colors are below!

New Sublime Text Themes: amCoder and Minimal Sublime Text

So many themes and color schemes

These aren’t exactly new, but I’ve been around the Sublime Text theme scene for a while and I’d never seen these two. So, here you go!

amCoder

amCoder describes itself as a “Hyperminimal UI Theme for Sublime Text 2/3 with Love of Monokai.” It’s based on Spacegray, and is optimized for Monokai.

amCoder can be installed via Package Control and can also be found on GitHub. Here’s a screenshot of the amCoder Sublime Text theme:

Minimal Sublime Text

Minimal Sublime Text is a flat version of the default Sublime Text theme. That’s probably why I like it so much.

It also comes with a dark sidebar version and can be installed via Package Control. Imagine that. :) Minimal Sublime Text is available on Github as well. A screenshot of Minimal Sublime Text is below:

Here’s some other recent posts about Sublime Text themes:

  2. Predawn
  3. Spacefunk
  4. Flatland
  5. A bunch of others

New Sublime Text Theme: Brogrammer

A flat & sexy Sublime Text theme. Pushups not included.

Brogrammer is a new Sublime Text theme from Ken Wheeler. It’s awfully nice to look at, and use. I’ve been using it for the last couple of days and have enjoyed it, and it’s included Brogrammer color scheme.

Brogrammer is on GitHub and can also be installed via Package Control. After you’ve installed it, either from GitHub or with Package Control, activate it by replacing the theme and color_scheme parameters in your user preferences file with the following:

{
  "theme": "Brogrammer.sublime-theme",
  "color_scheme": "Packages/Theme - Brogrammer/brogrammer.tmTheme"
}

I tend to keep a pretty close eye on GitHub and Package Control for new Sublime Text themes. I’ll post more as they pop up. Always nice to change things up.

New Sublime Text Theme Predawn

Flatland-Alt, Renamed and Improved

Flatland-Alt creator, Jamie Wilson, informed that he released a new SublimeText theme, Predawn.
https://twitter.com/jmwlsn/status/441007296181567488

Predawn is actually a new and improved, renamed version of Flatland-Alt, but still sticks with the dark interface. Here’s how Predawn describes itself in it’s GitHub repo.

Predawn is a minimal Sublime Text theme and a syntax color scheme. It was originally just a slightly tweaked version (called Flatland-Alt) of the Flatland theme, which itself is a flat reworking of Soda. I decided to keep going with cusomization and rework the entire theme. But I owe a lot to Flatland and Soda. Thanks guys!

Predawn can be installed via Package Control and activating the theme is pretty standard:

{
"theme": "predawn.sublime-theme",
"color_scheme": "Packages/Predawn/predawn.tmTheme"
}

There’s some other options regarding the sidebar size that you can set as well. It even includes some really nice looking dock icons for SublimeText.

Jamie also included his favorite SublimeText configuration, there’s definitely some things he’s using that I should be.

Give Predawn a try. If you’re a fan of Flatland or Flatland-Alt, you’ll love Predawn.

Big List of Sublime Text Themes

Make Sublime Text yours with these Sublime Text Themes

This post simply contains links and images for a LOT of Sublime Text themes. Most work with Sublime Text 3, even though they may say they’re only for Sublime Text 2. People are bad about updating their GitHub readme files sometimes.

Clicking the theme name will take you to it’s GitHub page, while clicking the image will just show you a bigger version.

Got a decent Sublime Text theme I haven’t listed? Please leave a comment with the theme name and GitHub URL if applicable. I’d really like to try making a mostly complete list of Sublime Text themes that are current and not ugly as hell.

Now, to the themes!
