Stop the ACLU Blogburst: Immigration

Crossposted from Stop The ACLU.
Our erstwhile and dearly beloved President Bush, having found one of his testicles behind the couch, FINALLY gets around to attempting to begin to consider taking the correct course of action by deploying 6000 National Guard Troops to aid ICE in securing our Southern Border in Name Only (SBNO) and the ACLU races with all haste to try to undermine the deployment by whining incessantly and lying to the American people.

“Oh-ho” you say, along with “Kender? How can you say that the ACLU is LYING to the goodly citizens of the United States?”

Here’s how, and as usual, it is attributable to The Queen of the ACLU, The Beauty of the Bill of Rights, the Nancy of the Nine Amendments (ask him, there is no Second Amendment) Anthony Romero:

“Turning immigration enforcement policy into another military operation is not the answer. The president’s proposed deployment of National Guard troops violates the spirit of the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the military from getting into the business of civilian law enforcement.

Did you catch that?

I made it real big so you would catch it, but how many of you actually caught it?

Actually the question should be how many of you even know about it?

SEC. 15. From and after the passage of this act it shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress; and no money appropriated by this act shall be used to pay any of the expenses incurred in the employment of any troops in violation of this section And any person willfully violating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars or imprisonment not exceeding two years or by both such fine and imprisonment.

Let me repeat that.

except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress;

Got that? Never mind the fact that the since the Posse Comitatus Act is an AMERICAN LAW it should logically only apply to AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!!! But applying our laws to criminal aliens is a fight that the ACLU has won….for the moment.

But we all know that where the ACLU is concerned logic has nothing to do with it.

I propose the radical concept that it is SPECIFICALLY the job of the federal government to secure the border, and if we need National Guard Troops to accomplish that goal then that is what needs to get done. If these millions of criminal aliens were coming across with guns and in uniform would the ACLU demand that Bush not send the military to stop the invasion?

I bet they would.

In WW2 the current ACLU would have been suing the government for placing anti-aircraft guns on the coast (many of those were placed on private property with the owners blessings) and demanding that blackout rules be abolished because forcing one to turn out the lights during a possible air raid would put them in danger of tripping on something in the dark, thereby depriving them of their right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Of course, the ALCU is more than happy to let someone pursue their personal happiness in the dark, often times even when it involves children, but that is a rant for another day.

The fact of the matter is that the government has failed us by refusing to secure the border, and we have been invaded. The ACLU is doing everything in their power to stop the government from doing ITS’ JOB and in the process making us all a little less safe with each and every day that goes by.

Mexico Threatens Suits Over Guard Patrols

Isn’t this interesting? Mexico is all ready to launch lawsuits against the U.S. for protecting our own damn border. Why lawsuits? Well, Mexico is worried about the security and safety of the would-be border jumpers. Kinda ironic huh? I was 100% positive the Mexican government didn’t give a rats ass about their citizens, guess I was wrong.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico – Mexico said Tuesday that it would file lawsuits in U.S. courts if National Guard troops on the border become directly involved in detaining migrants.

Mexican border officials also said they worried that sending troops to heavily trafficked regions would push illegal migrants into more perilous areas of the U.S.-Mexican border to avoid detection.

President Bush announced Monday that he would send 6,000 National Guard troops to the 2,000-mile border, but they would provide intelligence and surveillance support to Border Patrol agents, not catch and detain illegal immigrants.

Note, lawsuits happen “if National Guard troops on the border become directly involved in detaining migrants.” Migrants? Excuse me, but these aren’t fucking migrants. They’re illegal immigrants trying to make it to the U.S. for a better life. Sorry, but they’re criminals.

On a related note, Hyscience has a list of Republican Senators that voted with the Democrats on the immigration issue. Someone should probably let them know what a bad decision they made. At least bring it to their attention that they’re ignoring the will of their constituents, it’s the courteous thing to do.

Commies in Bed With Illegals?

Dan at Riehl World View brings up a good point, where has the MSM been in promoting all these pro-immigrant protests?

Probably backing off after they noticed some communist groups offering their support to the immigrants/illegals. Donkey Cons has some history on these groups and a little about how they feel on this whole illegal immigration issue. Interesting…

Bush Endorses Amnesty. Sorta.

There’s been an enormous amount of immigration talk lately. Congress is currently looking at various immigration reform proposals. Newt Gingrich thinks the U.S. should just start enforcing our current immigration laws, which really would make the most sense.

Apparently, President Bush “generally favors plans to give millions of illegal immigrants a chance at U.S. citizenship without leaving the country, but does not want to be more publicly supportive because of opposition among conservative House Republicans, according to senators who attended a recent White House meeting.” Granting amnesty to illegals would probably force me to move out of the country for good. Although, this could possibly result in a huge voter turnout by hispanics in favor of republicans.

I’ll be writing more about immigration in the next couple days, and how the mexican-american population usually manages to sabotage their own agenda.

Rita Preparations

I so badly wanted to punch New Orleans mayor Nagin in the face the other day. He’s a total asshat, getting pissed off because Thad Allen warned people not to go back to New Orleans. At least Nagin has enough of a brain to listen to Thad, nevermind Nagin berating Thad for warning the people of New Orleans not to go back.

Supposedly, it’ll take about 3″ of additional rain in New Orleans to breach the levee system again. Scary, as 3 inches of rain at once isn’t uncommon even here in Iowa. I’d expect more than that on the Gulf coast, aside from there being another major hurricane approaching.

Michelle Malkin has some good links, including one to Jason Smith (Generation Why). Jason’s got pictures comparing the evacuation of Houston compared to that of New Orleans.

PowerPundit has word that Rita is approaching level 5 hurricane status. The WeatherBlog has the same information. Wasn’t Rita still a tropical storm yesterday?

Heather, who has written for HurricAid and lives in Houston, is evacuating her residence tonight. She has contact info for anyone staying in Houston who wants her to publish some information for them. Could be useful once Rita makes landfall.

The Political Teen has Rita’s expected track. The stormtrack has been basically the same for a few days now. I think it’s expected to make landfall slightly more north of their original estimates. In all reality, it could do anything from hitting Mexico to clobbering New Orleans and the rest of the northern gulf coast again. Should make for an interesting next couple of days.

I’ll be interested to see what level of hurricane this is when it makes landfall. I believe it’s technically still a level 4 hurricane, but a powerful level 4. Sounds like Katrina. Looks like Katrina.

I hope it doesn’t hit New Orleans again. Or anywhere in the U.S. If it does, and causes serious damage like Katrina, expect the islamo-nuts to praise Allah for sending Rita to destroy all us dirty kuffars. Just like they did with Katrina. They’re silly. claim.
