So I got some new processors for my dual processor machine at home. It had 2 P3 733mhz processors, it now has 2 P3 933mhz processors. There is a noticable speed difference. Compiling things goes a little quicker than it did before.
I nearly killed my motherboard getting my ThermalTake Volcano 7 heatsinks off my old processors. I didn’t have the proper tools to get them off and ended up about stabbing a hole in my motherboard. I ended up finding a tool that would work and didn’t have any problems after that. The elusive tool I needed was a simple flathead screwdriver. I don’t think there’s one in existance in our apartment.
