More site cleaning

I cleaned up the URL’s on this site some. For example, the permalinks to individual news items are much cleaner…previously, they were in this form:
http://longren.no-ip.org/index.php?option=news&newsid=235

And now, the links are:
http://longren.no-ip.org/news/235

I wonder if this will make a difference to the search engines? I’ve heard many places that making “clean” urls will greatly improve rankings on search engines.

There’s also some new advertisements by google here. I chose the least intrusive ad option. Other than those couple things, I guess that’s about it.
