This is my first post in WordPress. I got all my old posts converted over, still gotta do the comments. Still looking for a theme I wanna stick with too.
I like WP a lot so far, some really neat things can be done with it. There wasn’t an “option” field in one of it’s tables though for the gmt_offset so it displays the correct time. I couldn’t figure out why the offset I enetered in the options page wouldn’t save. Adding a “gmt_offset” option to the “wp_options” table seemed to fix it. It just didn’t have a place to be stored. Lucky guess for the options name I guess. 🙂
Well, now what?

I don’t think I’m going to move old comments over just because I was stupid and let all my old news items get new ID’s instead of carrying over their old values. So, I’m not gonna re-import all that stuff into the wordpress tables again.
Although I liked the previous look, I like this even better!
How many (and what) domains do you have now?
I’ve bought blaze-up.net, diplomaticimmunity.net and now longren.org.
The other two point to the same location. There’s various sub domains for blaze-up.net such as traffic.blaze-up.net, glory.blaze-up.net and mysql.blaze-up.net which is just a MySQL Admin frontend.
I also like this layout much better. I’ve tweaked this template quite a bit so far, and am going to continue to do so. 🙂
